It’s not often I shoot a wedding without meeting the bride and groom ahead of time. Usually there is a wedding consult, an engagement session, and a final wedding consult. But that was not the case with Maria and Nick. We had many conversations via the phone, and no matter how well I felt prepared, I was still a little nervous for my initial meeting with them. Silly me. The moment I first introduced myself before their rehearsal, Maria and Nick were nothing but warm and inviting. Our personalities clicked and I knew it was going to be an amazing wedding.
They planned a gorgeous day. The venue was dreamy, they were gorgeous, everything was perfect…except the darn wind. It was a howling, even to the point that Maria’s veil got taken away a few times. But we took it in stride, found some nooks in the golf course that were protected from the breeze and created some beautiful images. Then came the sunset, a breath taking sunset made all the wind seem trivial. .jpg)
